Biography:
Sephiroth is a central antagonist in the Final Fantasy series, most notably Final Fantasy VII. He was born through a clandestine Shinra Electric Power Company project that infused his pregnant mother, Lucrecia Crescent, with cells from the extraterrestrial being Jenova.
Initially regarded as Shinra's greatest SOLDIER, Sephiroth was celebrated as a war hero due to his unparalleled combat abilities and strategic brilliance. His disillusionment began when he discovered the truth about his origins and Jenova, leading him to believe he was the last of the Ancients (Cetra) and destined to reclaim the planet.
Driven by this distorted belief, Sephiroth embarked on a path of destruction, culminating in the infamous Nibelheim incident where he burned down the town and sought to use the Black Materia to summon Meteor and wound the planet. This would allow him to absorb the Lifestream, attaining godhood. Cloud Strife and his allies oppose Sephiroth to prevent the destruction of the planet.
Sephiroth's striking appearance includes long silver hair, piercing eyes with feline pupils, and a signature long black coat. He wields the legendary Masamune, a katana with an exceptionally long blade. He is a complex character driven by a tragic past and fueled by a desire for power and revenge.
